Our client, is a Manufacturing Conglomerate company, is looking for a Prototype Assembler Level 3 for their Houston, TX location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
  • Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
  • Attaches breakers, relays, contactors, bus bars, transformers, plugging devices, fuse blocks and others to mounting holes with bolts and screws.
  • Cuts, strips, bends, and mounts wires to connect electrical units.
  • Inspects and tests completed electrical assemblies as required.
  • Boxes or bags products as required.
  • Affixes labels to product.
  • Insures completeness of paperwork.
  • Forwards completed orders to shipping department.
  • Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly issues
  • Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
 
Requirements:
  • Client will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
