The Iowa Clinic, a physician-owned and governed multi-specialty clinic with over 300 providers, is excited to announce an administrative opening on our Provider Recruitment team!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by:
- Providing support to the Director of Provider Recruitment and other members of the team
- Championing the internal and external customer experience for provider candidates, directors and managers, vendors, etc.
- Maintaining a detailed database of past, present, and future provider candidates and hires
- Scheduling phone and onsite provider interviews
- Teaming with a variety of resources to create provider interview and orientation itineraries
- Coordinating meals and travel arrangements (including flight, rental car, and hotel) for onsite provider interviews
- Ensuring seamless flow of provider onsite interview days
- Sending employment agreements to provider candidates for digital signature and confirming execution
- Processing signing incentives, relocation bonuses, etc.
- Ensuring background checks, references, and drug screens are completed in an appropriate and timely manner
- Assisting with provider onboarding and offboarding processes
- Creating and updating professional reports for leadership and board meetings
- Coding invoices and credit card receipts, and managing other billing as needed
- Acting as a liaison to the Credentialing team
- Ordering supplies for the department
- Serving as a positive, professional representative of the organization

You will need:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Experience: Previous administrative/executive assistant background required, specific knowledge of the healthcare community preferred
- Licensure/Certification: Valid Iowa driver’s license and means of traveling to various Des Moines Metro locations required
