Full-time, benefit eligible position. Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, hours vary due to travel. Candidate must be in office setting located in Western Region or Columbia, MO a minimum of two days a week including up to 50% travel as needed.
The Provider Trainer plays a key role in creating a consistent, supportive onboarding and training experience for providers across behavioral health, primary care, and dental services. This position equips physicians, advanced practice providers, dentists, pharmacists, optometrists, and other clinical professionals with the knowledge and tools they need to effectively use electronic health records, technology platforms, compliance resources, and organizational processes. Working closely with clinical and operational leaders, the Provider Trainer promotes provider success, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate onboarding and ongoing training for providers across multiple clinical service lines.
- Train providers on electronic health record (EHR) systems, documentation standards, billing and coding requirements, and technology platforms.
- Maintain expertise in multiple EHR systems and provide ongoing support to providers.
- Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to ensure required training, competencies, and compliance activities are completed.
- Coordinate OSHA training, assist with mock inspections, and support organizational compliance initiatives.
- Participate in provider meetings, committees, and special projects focused on improving provider efficiency and organizational performance.
- Support continuous learning by identifying training needs and promoting best practices across the organization.
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
QUALIFICATION(S): EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- High School/GED degree required
- 2 years' experience using electronic health records or similar documentation tool, clinical setting processes, or training required
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
QUALIFICATION(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
- Must possess and maintain a current, active Missouri Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, medical assistant certification or dental assistant certification
