 Packer – Food Production (Snack Manufacturing)

• Days: Sunday – Friday
• Hours: 6:50 AM – 7:00 PM
• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
• Assignment Dates: July 6, 2026 – June 26, 2027

 Job Summary

The Packer is responsible for packaging finished products from the production line into boxes according to company and customer specifications, while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards.

 Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and hand-pack products (chips) into boxes on a fast-moving production line
• Assemble boxes, apply labels/stickers, and ensure accurate packaging
• Verify product quality (bag seals, weight, labeling, date codes, defects)
• Monitor seasoning levels for consistency
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and remove waste as needed
• Repack or rework products when necessary
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Report equipment issues or quality concerns to management
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, stretch wrapper, forklift – if trained)
• Follow all GMP, food safety, and company policies

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• Comfortable working around food production processes

 Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing for 12-hour shifts
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
• Repetitive motions including pushing, pulling, and reaching
