The Psychiatrist III is under the general direction and supervision of the Clinical Director. This position will coordinate, control and direct the planning, organizing, and other activities of all supervisory personnel of the unit in executing administrative and treatment programs for clients served. Responsible to insure that all functions within the assigned ward meets compliance with Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) guidelines, Medicare standards, DSHS Commissioners Rules and Directives, and facility policy and directives. Directly responsible to the Clinical Director for Programs and coordinates with discipline directors (Psychology, Nursing, Social Service, Adjunctive Therapy, and Chaplaincy). Provides treatment to HHS employees injured in course and scope of employment.
