POSITION OVERVIEW
A Psyche Social Health Tech (Psychiatric / Behavioral Health Technician) provides direct patient support within behavioral health and psychiatric settings while helping maintain a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Providing direct care and emotional support to patients
Monitoring patient behavior, mood, and overall well-being
Assisting with daily activities and therapeutic programming
Supporting crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts
Collaborating with nurses, social workers, and clinical staff
Maintaining a safe and structured patient environment
Documenting patient observations and interactions accurately

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience REQUIRED
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in fast-paced behavioral health environments
Compassionate, patient-focused mindset
Experience working with mental health populations preferred
