Assignment Details
- Full-time contract opportunities available
- Initial 16-week assignments with extension options
- 8-hour and 12-hour shifts based on facility scheduling needs
- Rotating weekend schedule required
- Opportunities available at inpatient behavioral health facilities throughout North Carolina
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused care while assisting with daily living activities
- Maintain assigned patient observation levels and help ensure a safe therapeutic environment
- Encourage positive patient interactions through effective communication and supportive care
- Accurately document patient observations, care provided, and changes in condition
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support individualized treatment plans
- Perform delegated patient care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of one year of recent inpatient healthcare experience
- Ability to successfully complete required background screenings, drug testing, credential verification, and competency assessments
