Assignment Information

• Full-time opportunities available
• Initial 16-week contract with 13-week extension options
• 8-hour and 12-hour shift schedules depending on facility needs
• Rotating weekend requirements
• Placements available at premier psychiatric and behavioral health facilities throughout North Carolina

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to behavioral health patients
• Perform patient evaluations and monitor physical and behavioral conditions
• Administer prescribed medications and assess treatment effectiveness
• Assist patients with developing coping strategies and essential life skills
• Monitor, document, and communicate changes in patient status
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
• Current, unrestricted North Carolina LPN license
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
• Minimum of one year recent inpatient nursing experience
• Ability to successfully complete all required compliance screenings, including background checks, drug testing, and competency evaluations
