Position Details:

• Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Department: Outpatient Psychiatry
• Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday
• Compensation: $132,000 - $142,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care, counseling, and education to patients and families.
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and evidence-based treatments.
• Manage patient safety and coordinate care transitions.
• Engage in patient education and promote health maintenance.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects.

Requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in nursing; accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Licenses/Certifications: Active Massachusetts RN license, Nurse Practitioner registration, DEA registration, current BLS certification.
• Experience: Minimum two years in clinical nursing, preferably in behavioral health.

Skills:

• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
• Effective communication and organizational abilities.
• Computer proficiency and capability to meet physical job demands.
