Seeking a PMHNP for an outpatient psychiatric office.


We are growing! We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. New Grads welcome to apply.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Assessment, diagnosis, case management, continuing care assessments and planning, treatment planning, referral assessments, documentation and outpatient level of care.


  • Assesses patients' mental health by conducting a psychiatric assessment upon intake.
  • Assesses patients physical health by interviewing patients; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
  • Documents patients care services by charting in the client's records
  • Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations.
  • Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living; promoting wellness and health maintenance.
  • Prescribes and orders patients medications based on the psychiatric assessments and needs.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Delivers person centered, culturally sensitive evaluations, and trauma informed care as defined by position.
  • Maintains patients' charts/documentation according to the standards
  • Attends staff meetings, in-service meetings, peer reviews, supervision sessions, and other meetings as requested/required per week.
  • Works cooperatively and constructively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintains an Active TX license, Active DEA
Schedule:


Monday - Friday


8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
