Description

Kids First is a growing multidisciplinary pediatric therapy clinic in Rockland County, NY, providing comprehensive services including behavioral health, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. 
We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our Behavioral Health team and provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management services for children and adolescents.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents
  • Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric follow-up care
  • Develop individualized treatment recommendations in collaboration with families and treatment teams
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions as clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other pediatric providers to ensure coordinated care
  • Provide psychoeducation and support to parents/caregivers
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in New York State
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively
  • Compassionate, family-centered approach to care
