    Balance Point Wellness, LLC is a thriving outpatient mental health practice seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Maryland to join our collaborative clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about providing exceptional psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive and team-oriented environment.


    Working under the leadership of our Vice President of Psychiatry, the PMHNP will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and supporting the behavioral and mental health needs of our diverse client population.

    Position Highlights

    • Full-time opportunity (32 hours per week)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
    • Perform psychiatric medication evaluations and ongoing medication management
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment recommendations as appropriate
    • Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
    • Provide ongoing psychiatric follow-up and continuity of care

    Requirements:

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
    • Active Maryland Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license
    • Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority preferred
    • Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults preferred
    • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
