Salary: $100 - $130 per hour
A bit about us:We are an established outpatient behavioral health clinic providing psychiatric and therapeutic services to individuals receiving community-based mental health care. Our model brings psychiatric providers, therapists, care managers, and community resources together so treatment does not happen in disconnected silos.
This is a New York State-regulated OMH/MHOTRS environment offering both in-person and telehealth services. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will have a defined clinical role focused on psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, and coordination with the broader treatment team.
You became a psychiatric clinician to evaluate patients, solve clinical problems, and improve lives—not to spend your entire week acting as a professional paperwork traffic controller. Documentation matters here, but it supports the care rather than replacing it.
Why join us?- Earn $100–$130 per hour, depending on experience and the final employment arrangement
- Choose a part-time or PRN schedule rather than committing to another full-time position
- Hybrid work that combines in-person patient care with telehealth
- Flexible scheduling that may work alongside another clinical position, private practice, or personal commitments
- Focus primarily on outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- Provide ongoing care rather than functioning as a one-time assessment provider
- Work within an interdisciplinary behavioral health team instead of managing complex patients in isolation
- Coordinate directly with therapists, care managers, primary care providers, and community-based professionals
- Maintain meaningful clinical autonomy when developing treatment and medication plans
- Educate patients and families so they understand the reasoning behind diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and potential side effects
- Practice within an established OMH/MHOTRS clinical and regulatory framework
- Participate in improving clinical quality and patient access without taking on a full-time administrative position
- Build relationships with a diverse outpatient behavioral health population
- Perform work where thoughtful psychiatric decision-making can create a measurable difference in someone’s stability and quality of life
Job DetailsWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
