Responsibilities and Duties
Provide Comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders
Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
Document patient care in electronic medical records and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of health care professionals
Qualifications and Skills:
Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner(PMHNP-BC)
Experience in a clinical psychiatric setting
Proficiency in electronic health records systems
Knowledge of current mental health laws and ethical standards
Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with a focus on psychiatry
Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner
Minimum of 1 year experience
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
