Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, and help patients address dysfunctional behaviors through psychotherapeutic methods and medication management. Responsibilities 
  • Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses
  • Create individualized treatment plans for each client
  • Prescribe psychotherapeutic medication and adjust prescription according to patient’s response
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan, including all medication information
  • Consult with primary care physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care is provided
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest professional developments and research
  • The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services.
Qualifications
  • PMHNP-BC.
  • Deep knowledge of various psychotherapeutic methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex medical concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Excellent observational and assessment skills
