Devonear, Inc. is a mission-driven healthcare organization committed to advancing behavioral and preventative health services in underserved communities. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to join our growing team.
Position Summary:
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide direct psychiatric care to a diverse patient population, including both children and adults. The ideal candidate is experienced, self-motivated, and passionate about delivering high-quality mental health services within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Bilingual providers and those with experience working with children are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adults
Provide ongoing monthly medication management
Write and manage prescriptions following clinical guidelines
Maintain clear, timely, and accurate documentation in the EHR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to support integrated care delivery
Participate in cross-training to support the implementation of biomedical HIV prevention tools (e.g., PrEP and nPEP)
Requirements:
Active Florida APRN license with a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Active DEA number and Medicaid provider number (required)
Experience working with both children and adults (preferred)
Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic healthcare setting
