Role Overview- Schedule: 5 a week within Monday to Friday
- Start off at 10 patients per day and grow to 15 patients per day
- Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in their short-term units
- Conduct documentation at home with provided iPad laptop within 48 hours of seeing patients
- Commute to a few facilities within a half-hour of Roanoke
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a mental health diagnosis
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation
Requirements- Hold a valid full PMHNP license
- Active VA license
- Active DEA preferred but not required
- Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not require
Expected compensation is estimated range of $100,000 - $120,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
