Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow -up assessments.

Develop individualized treatment plans focused on stabilization and symptom management.

Prescribe, adjust, and monitor psychiatric medications.
<\/p><\/li>
Communicate treatment recommendations with facility leadership, nursing teams, and families.
<\/p><\/li>
Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in EMR systems.
<\/p><\/li>
Promote resident -centered, trauma -informed psychiatric care.
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>
Active New York State<\/b> license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)<\/b>.
<\/p><\/li>
Board Certified PMHNP.
<\/p><\/li>
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
<\/p><\/li>
Prior experience working in nursing homes, geriatrics, rehabilitation, or long -term care is preferred but not required.
<\/p><\/li>
Experience as a Psychiatric RN or NP is a plus.<\/span><\/span>
