  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow -up visits<\/span>

  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Collaborate with facility staff and family members<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Document care in compliance with regulatory standards<\/span>
    <\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Provide compassionate, trauma -informed care<\/span>

    Qualifications<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Certified PMHNP (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner)<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Active, unrestricted state license<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Experience with geriatric or long -term care populations preferred (not required)<\/span>
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Prior experience as a Psychiatric RN or Psychiatric NP in a nursing home or similar setting is a plus<\/span>
