Psychiatric Physician Assistant

Saafe Behavioral Services is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in psychiatric and behavioral health care to join our growing team full-time.

Position Details

• Position: Full-Time Psychiatric Physician Assistant
• Specialty: Psychiatry / Behavioral Health
• Patient Population: Ages 4 years and older
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat mental health conditions
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications as appropriate
• Collaborate with psychiatrist, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adolescents, and adults

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license in the state of practice
• Board-certified or eligible Physician Assistant
• Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health care preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Required to work with patients ages 4 and older
• Commitment to ethical, patient-focused care
