Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) – Clinical Research

Manhattan, NY

IMA Clinical Research is seeking a Psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Manhattan research team. This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers the opportunity to conduct psychiatric evaluations and support innovative clinical trials in a collaborative, research-focused environment—with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.

 

Compensation:$130,000–$150,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric interviews and standardized rating scale assessments.
  • Evaluate participant eligibility for psychiatric clinical trials.
  • Perform clinical and physical assessments per study protocols.
  • Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, and study sponsors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
  • Participate in study trainings and investigator meetings.

Qualifications

  • Active New York Physician Assistant (PA) license.
  • Psychiatric, behavioral health, or mental health experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Interest in psychiatric clinical research and protocol-driven care.
