    Thriving Chicago North Shore Mental Wellness Center

    Seeks Experienced Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PAs)

    Here & Now Mental Wellness combines the best of traditional and emerging treatment

    modalities to help our clients manage stress, grief and trauma, navigate life transitions and

    become comfortable in their lives and careers. We are looking for smart, ambitious,

    empathic, curious, resilient people who happen to be accomplished Physician Assistants

    specializing in psychiatric care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Champion our integrated clinical approach through daily interactions with other

    clinicians and staff members and clients

    • Refer patients for in-patient care in collaboration with the Psychiatrist

    • Issue medication prescriptions in accordance with treatment guidelines

    • Order laboratory tests, interpret and explain the test results to clients

    • Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits and reasonable

    outcome expectations

    • Communicate with patients and follow-up as necessary.

    Required Education & Professional Experience

    • Master of Physician Assistant Studies

    • Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences or Biology

    • At least 2 years of experience working as a Physician’s Assistant in a Mental

    Healthcare setting

    • Preferably, has an understanding of Ketamine treatment.

    • Ability to harmonize with people with diverse backgrounds and skillsets

    • A love of learning

    • Good problem-solving skills, ability to figure things out on your own when needed

    • A good sense of humor
