Responsibilities
Provide quality outpatient psychiatric medical care that aligns with the College of Medicines mission, goals, and objectives, while adhering to current standards of psychiatric practice. Demonstrate clinical leadership and collaboration in support of patient care, education, and program development, with experience in academic medicine.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree (MD or DO) and completion of necessary internship, three years of psychiatric residency, and one year of post-residency in psychiatry.
Valid licensure in Florida in accordance with Chapter 458, Florida Statutes; or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain FL Licensure within 30 days of hire.
Valid Board Certification in Psychiatric Medicine or appropriate discipline.
Current Federal DEA license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Certification by certifying agency, or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
Post-job offer, but prior to hire, the following is required:
Current PPD (Purified Protein Derivative) test as performed by a qualified physician from within the past 6 months.
Physical examination completed by a qualified healthcare provider/physician from within the past 6 months.
Within 30 days of hire, you must provide:
Documentation of vaccination for Tetanus within the last 10 years.
Proof of immunization OR positive titers for Hepatitis B.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in clinical leadership, especially within academic medicine settings.
