University of Maryland Shore Regional Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our inpatient behavioral health team in Easton, Maryland.
This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care.
Practice Details
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday
- Occasional weekend coverage (negotiable)
- Inpatient setting
- Multidisciplinary team includes:
- Physicians
- Nursing staff
- Therapists and case management
Clinical Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and manage a range of mental health conditions
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
- Manage medications and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
- Support safe transitions of care and discharge planning
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $323,318
- Based on MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks
- Commensurate with experience and training
- Sign-on options (choose one):
- $20,000–$25,000 bonus OR
- $50,000 housing allowance (year one)
- Relocation assistance up to $10,000

Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Maryland medical license (or eligibility)
- DEA certification
- Eligible for privileges at a UMMS-affiliated facility
