Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health services in a clinical setting. As a key member of the behavioral health team, this role is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral conditions. The Psychiatrist will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care and collaborative treatment planning.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services when necessary
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT)
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in compliance with standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Participate in professional development and maintain active licensure
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) in Psychiatry
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active California medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • Current BLS or ACLS certification preferred
  • Experience with electronic health record systems preferred
  • Strong understanding of psychiatric diagnostic and treatment methodologies
  • Must pass Occupational Health Screening
  • Must meet employment eligibility requirements (I-9 verification)
  • Clean driving record may be required
