Position: Psychiatrist (MD/DO) – Contract Opportunity

Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. This position offers flexible working arrangements, including telehealth and in-office settings, providing a unique opportunity for clinicians to establish or expand their private practice. You will serve clients across a broad geographic area, leveraging a comprehensive support system designed to streamline credentialing, administrative processes, and clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals, families, and groups.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and ongoing psychiatric evaluations to inform treatment strategies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including mental health counselors and primary care providers, to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Prescribe medications following best practices and monitor treatment progress.
  • Offer crisis stabilization and intervention services as required, ensuring patient safety and care continuity.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely clinical documentation in accordance with organizational policies, legal standards, and accreditation requirements such as the Joint Commission.
  • Participate in regular case review meetings and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with advancements in psychiatric practices and participate in continuing medical education (CME) opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in relevant states.
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry or eligibility.
  • Proven experience in outpatient psychiatric care, including medication management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in clinical documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
