Participation in administrative meetings and leadership calls
Oversight of clinical policies, procedures, and protocols
Review and approval of clinical guidelines, standing orders, and workflows
Quality assurance and performance improvement activities
Regulatory and accreditation compliance support
Consultation with clinical staff on complex or escalated cases
Participation in peer review and chart review processes
Support for clinical operations, risk management, and best practices
The Medical Director is expected to:
Be available for questions, reviews, and quality oversight of provider work.
Perform random chart audits and quality reviews, including medication management oversight.
Assist with psychiatric medication policies and formulary decisions.
Support collaborating NPs when required under Indiana regulations.
