Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our outpatient team in Seaford, NY for a flexible 5-hour per week schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist seeking a low-hour commitment while making a meaningful impact in a community health setting.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management
+ Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
+ Support patients with behavioral health and substance use concerns
+ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
Required:
+ MD or DO from an accredited medical school
+ Completion of an approved psychiatric residency program
+ Active New York State medical license
+ Current DEA registration
+ Board Certification in Psychiatry
Preferred:
+ Experience working with substance use disorder populations
+ Experience in community health or FQHC settings
