We are looking for a leader to manage our program in the Berlin and Camden locations. The Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will join an amazing team of professionals who are passionate about treating the children in the community.Benefits- Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Retirement savings plan with employer contributions - Opportunities for professional development and continuing education - Supportive work environment focused on collaboration and patient careKey Responsibilities- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient. - Provide medication management, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychiatric medications as necessary. - Deliver psychotherapy and counseling services to patients and their families. - Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. - Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. - Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with facility standards. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and treatment planning sessions. - Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the C.A.S.T.L.E. program. - Stay informed of advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry and contribute to staff training and education.Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with completion of a residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. - Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is required. - Valid medical license in the state of New Jersey. - Experience in child and adolescent psychiatric care is preferred. - Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a focus on evidence-based practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in engaging with children, adolescents, and their families. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment. - Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining patient confidentiality.
