Psychiatrist - Psych Adult at New York OMH

Summary:

• Location: Bensonhurst ACT Team, 8620 18th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11214
• Duration: Long-term opportunity through December 2030
• Full-time outpatient ACT Team assignment
• Regular weekday schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekends or call listed

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of chronically mentally ill adult patients
• Work as part of an outpatient ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Team
• Drive to patient locations within the Brooklyn service area

Requirements:

• Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist
• Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical psychiatry experience
• Fully trained in evaluation, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of chronically mentally ill patients

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a state psychiatric system preferred
