Job Description
Summary:
- Duration: Approximately 3 weeks from tentative selection through 12/31/2030
- Work Mode: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Perform standardized risk assessments
- Develop and monitor treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Lead a weekly medication education group
- Teach and supervise medical students as needed
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
- Active New York State medical license
- ABPN Board Certified in Psychiatry
- Minimum of 3 years post-residency clinical experience
- Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
- Specialty in Adult Psychiatry
- Experience in inpatient settings
