This role offers a highly specialized and rewarding practice for a Psychiatrist seeking to make a meaningful difference. You’ll provide direct psychiatric care, including thorough assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and medication management for a diverse caseload.
✔️ Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License (MD or DO) with no sanctions
✔️ Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
✔️ Current DEA certification and NPI number
✔️ Completion of psychiatric residency training
✔️ At least 3 years of psychiatric practice preferred
✔️ Experience with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or complex mental illness strongly preferred
✔️ Deep understanding of psychopharmacology, individualized care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
✔️ Must meet all facility compliance standards, including credentialing, background checks, drug screening, and immunization requirements
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule with a 1-hour lunch
One day of telework flexibility available
No required on-call responsibilities
