Position Overview:
This role involves providing direct psychiatric care, including assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and ongoing management of a diverse caseload. Responsibilities include conducting face-to-face evaluations, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, responding to psychiatric emergencies, and ensuring compliance with all facility policies and regulatory standards. The position offers autonomy and the chance to contribute meaningfully to quality-of-care initiatives.
Qualifications:
✔️ Active, unrestricted Texas Medical License with no sanctions
✔️ Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry
✔️ Current DEA certification
✔️ American Heart Association-approved CPR certification
✔️ Must meet all facility compliance standards, including credentialing, background checks, drug screening, and immunization requirements
✔️ Experience with dually diagnosed adult populations preferred
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Flexible 8-hour daily schedule available
No required on-call responsibilities
