    Job Title: TAY Psychiatrist
    Location: San Diego, CA – On-site
    Employment Type: Part-time
    Salary:
    $221.25 per hour

    About the Role
    The TAY Psychiatrist is responsible for delivering psychiatric evaluation and medication management services to program clients within a team-based, trauma-informed care model. This role includes clinical oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and support staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality behavioral health services.
    Responsibilities
    · Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and assessments
    · Prescribe medication and monitor side effects
    · Supervise and provide clinical oversight to NPs, RNs, and support staff
    · Participate in treatment planning and multidisciplinary team processes
    · Maintain clinical documentation and reporting standards
    · Ensure compliance with HIPAA, licensing, and ethical guidelines
    · Consult with external medical professionals as needed
    · May provide direct therapy or emergency psychiatric consultation
    · Collaborate with nursing staff and other clinicians to integrate care
    Required Qualifications
    · MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
    · Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
    · Licensed to practice medicine independently in California
    · Completion of psychiatry residency and 2-year child & adolescent fellowship
    · Strong leadership, clinical, and communication skills
    · Proficiency with electronic health records
