Job Title: Psychiatrist Supervisor
Compensation: $330,000 - $360,000 base salary + productivity bonus
Location: Nederland or Houston, TX (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (flexibility for four 10-hour days)
Employment: W-2 or 1099 (flexible)

Job Details

We are seeking a Psychiatrist Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversight within a growing outpatient behavioral health practice. This role combines direct patient care with supervision and support of PMHNPs and Physician Assistants.

The ideal candidate is Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry, enjoys collaborating with advanced practice providers, and is interested in helping support the growth and development of a multidisciplinary clinical team.

This position offers a blend of patient care, provider oversight, and administrative responsibilities, with flexibility to create a schedule that works for both the physician and the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and consultation to PMHNPs and Physician Assistants.
• Support psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, and ongoing patient care.
• Collaborate on clinical decision-making, complex cases, and patient outcomes.
• Review documentation and support quality and compliance initiatives.
• Promote evidence-based practices across the provider team.
• Maintain an active patient panel while balancing supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited U.S. Psychiatry residency program.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry.
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain licensure prior to employment start date.
• Strong understanding of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Interest in leadership, mentorship, and provider development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with some in-office presence as required.
