The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity for a Psychiatrist within the Montana State Hospital.
The Montana State Hospital (MSH) in Warm Springs provides inpatient psychiatric care to individuals with mental health needs. As a Psychiatrist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive care to patients.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses • Develop and implement treatment plans • Prescribe and manage medications • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Requirements:
• Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited medical school • Completion of a psychiatric residency program • Licensure to practice medicine in the state of Montana • Certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN)
