The Service Line Medical Director (SLMD) serves as the primary leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and performance of an assigned behavioral health service line.
In this role, you will provide strategic direction for Rogers Behavioral Healths medical policies, programs, and clinical standards within the service line. You will help ensure that every patient receives consistently high-quality care, regardless of which provider delivers their treatment.
The SLMD also plays an essential role in keeping clinical providers informed, aligned, and supported. You will collaborate closely with campus medical directors, the Associate Chief Medical Officer, the Chief Medical Officer, and other senior leaders to develop, monitor, and advance both short-term initiatives and long-term organizational goals.
In addition to your administrative and leadership responsibilities, you will continue practicing as a Clinical Psychiatrist. Clinical responsibilities include providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatment plans for a wide range of mental health conditions. Treatment may include psychotherapy, medication management, and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
