Required Skills:
- Valid medical license in Psychiatry with current credentials
- Proven experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients and team members
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Competency in documenting patient interactions accurately and thoroughly
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working within a residency program or supervising residents
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to handle occasional night call shifts as required
Preferred Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree with specialization in Psychiatry
- At least 2 years of clinical psychiatric experience post-residency
- Prior experience working in a hospital or outpatient setting
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in night call duties if needed
- Compliance with all state, federal, and local licensing and certification requirements
- Reliable transportation if travel or reimbursement for travel needs arise
