    Opportunity Details:

    We are seeking a full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a 102-bed freestanding behavioral health hospital in Jacksonville. This role offers strong compensation, and schedule stability, allowing you to focus on high-quality inpatient psychiatric care while working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment team at Brynn Marr Hospital.

    Quick Facts

    Employment Type: Full-time employed or independent contractor
    Schedule / Hours: Monday Friday
    Call: Shared weekend rotation
    Patient Volume: Managed inpatient caseload
    Location: Jacksonville, NC (15 miles from the coast)
    Practice Setting: Inpatient psychiatric hospital for Adolesents and adults
    Support / Care Team: Psychiatrists, APPs, therapists, nursing, case management

    Responsibilities

    Provide inpatient psychiatric care to adult, adolescent, and child populations
    Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary support staff
    Manage day-to-day clinical responsibilities, treatment planning, and follow-ups
    Document patient care

    Qualifications

    Board Certified / Board Eligible Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
    Active or eligible North Carolina license
    DEA and applicable certifications
