What Youll Do
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for inmates.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Provide professional psychological support and counseling within a correctional facility.
- Document clinical interactions accurately and in accordance with facility policies.
- Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and certification requirements.
- Follow safety procedures and uphold ethical standards in a secure environment.
What You Need
Required:
- AZ license in Psychology
- PhD or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited institution
- BLS certification
- Prior experience in corrections or forensic settings preferred
Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Flexibility in shift scheduling
