Psychologist – Full-Time Opportunity in Lumpkin, Georgia | $185/hour

Pay & Benefits

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct psychological screenings and comprehensive assessments for inmate populations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers
  • Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations
  • Provide individual counseling sessions and crisis interventions as needed
  • Make regular rounds in confined housing areas to monitor inmate mental health status
  • Participate in team meetings to coordinate care and follow-up plans
  • Document clinical findings and treatment progress in compliance with facility protocols
What You Need
Required:
  • Active state license as a Psychologist (board eligibility acceptable)
  • Proven experience in psychological assessments and mental health treatment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a correctional setting

Preferred:
  • Experience working within correctional or forensic mental health settings
  • Knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and crisis intervention
