Job Summary
We are seeking a NJ Licensed professional and caring Psychologist for per diem work in an interdisciplinary group practice. Princeton Speech-Language & Learning Center has been assisting children, adolescents, and adults for more than 30 years and has an extensive network of referral sources.  Candidates should have experience and expertise in conducting assessments with children and adolescents. Assessments include cognitive testing, educational testing, and testing for specific childhood diagnoses (e.g., ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, etc.). Experience in evaluating autism spectrum disorder using the ADOS-2 is strongly preferred. Candidates should have experience evaluating educational programs for children in special education.  A background in school psychology with licensure in NJ is preferred.  The candidate will also have the opportunity to conduct psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and families.  We are a private pay practice and do not work with insurance companies.  Candidate would receive regular consultation as needed, but expected to operate independently.  If you are an experienced Psychologist passionate about providing high-quality care and mental health solutions, we want to hear from you! 


Responsibilities 
  • Identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns and provide diagnoses
  • Create individualized treatment plans for each client
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic treatment approaches
  • Refer clients to other providers when appropriate
  • Write and publish articles and share professional research
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan
  • Perform regular wellness checks and follow-up appointments

Qualifications
  • Doctorate of Psychology (Ph.D., EdD, PsyD)
  • Currently licensed by the Association of State and Provincial Licensing Boards (ASPPB)
  • Successful completion of the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
