We provide medical evaluations and occupational health services, helping determine eligibility for disability benefits and supporting workplace health. This position centers on state disability evaluations, with the opportunity to expand into VA work over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological evaluations for disability cases
  • Administer IQ and developmental testing (Bayley, Leiter, WPPSI)
  • Evaluate children and adults in a clinical assessment setting
  • Prepare thorough, timely evaluation reports
  • Gradually incorporate VA evaluations into workload

Role Overview

  • Initial focus on disability evaluations
  • Work will transition to include both disability and VA cases
  • Required CT disability training must be completed before scheduling patients

Qualifications

  • Active Connecticut Psychologist License (PhD or PsyD)
  • Experience with psychological assessments
  • Strong report-writing and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with pediatric populations
