Job Summary:
The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Developmental Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member. This position will be at our Children's Hospital Colorado location at the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora and/or System of Care sites. Developmental Pediatrics provides a people-first, strength-based, neurodiverse affirming approach to developmental assessment, management, and intervention for children and youth with a wide array of developmental and behavioral challenges. Developmental Pediatrics is part of the Neuroscience Institute at Children's Hospital Colorado, which also includes Child Neurology and Neurosurgery. Clinicians in Developmental Pediatrics also work closely with Child Psychiatry, Genetics, Rehabilitation Medicine, Neurology, and Special Care Clinic, with ample collaborative opportunities.
The Psychologist will provide neurodevelopmental evaluations, clinical behavioral assessment and intervention for children with developmental behavioral conditions including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, neurogenetic conditions, and developmental behavioral disabilities. In addition to clinical excellence, faculty is expected to demonstrate skills and efforts in the areas of clinical consultation, research/scholarship, consultation, and training related to developmental disabilities.

The section of Developmental Pediatrics is comprised of a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatricians, Neurodevelopmental Pediatricians, Advanced Practice Providers, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Genetic Counselors, and a Pharmacist. Our mission is to ensure that every child has an opportunity to develop the skills needed to have the maximum level of independence and contentment, and to have optimal physical, behavioral, and mental health. Developmental Pediatrics houses a variety of specialty clinics within Developmental Pediatrics including the Fragile X Clinic; The eXtraordinarY Kids Clinic, Sleep and Toileting clinics along with a range of group and individual intervention modalities to address behavioral psychological and social skill challenges. We offer bilingual medical and psychology assessments as well as medical follow-up and psychology interventions. We also participate in neurogenetic multidisciplinary clinics outside our section. We have a medical fellowship program in developmental and behavioral pediatrics, and psychology externships, and pre- and post-doctoral training programs. We also have a strong research program and excellent faculty support by the Department of Pediatrics.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Assistant Professor: $110,000-$125,000
Associate Professor: $134,000-$154,000
Professor: $185,000-$239,000
The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
