What Youll Do:
- Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on clinical interviews and available records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and security staff
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to inmate needs
- Perform regular rounds in secure housing areas to monitor mental health and adjustment
- Provide mental health counseling and crisis interventions
- Address mental health crises with appropriate interventions and support
- Document assessments and treatment progress following facility protocols
What You Need:
Required:
- Active license or board eligibility as a Psychologist
- Ability to perform comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- BLS certification meeting facility standards or pending attestation
- Social Security card for facility clearance
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in correctional or institutional settings
- Familiarity with mental health treatment plans and crisis management
