    East Haddam Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, collaborative School Psychologist to join the team at Nathan Hale-Ray High School (NHRHS).

    Position Overview

    The School Psychologist plays a pivotal role in supporting our high school students by delivering comprehensive psychological services, supporting mental health initiatives, conducting evaluations, and participating actively in multidisciplinary teams.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    Certification: State of Connecticut Certification as a School Psychologist (070) or eligibility for endorsement.

    Education: Master's degree or 6th-Year degree/Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.

    Skills:

    • Demonstrated expertise in comprehensive psychoeducational assessment tools and methodologies.
    • Strong skills in counseling techniques tailored to high school students.
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative relationships with staff and families.
    • Knowledge of CT Special Education regulations, Section 504 guidelines, and IEP software platforms.
