POSITION: SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

BARKHAMSTED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Grades Preschool - 6th grade

START DATE: NOVEMBER 2, 2026

Shared Services has an opening for a school psychologist to work at the Barkhamsted Elementary School with students in grades preschool through sixth grade.

Requirement: State of Connecticut School Psychologist Certification 070

Duties Include:

• Conduct formal and informal psychoeducational testing and evaluations
• Individual and group counseling
• Promote and implement school wide social and emotional learning (SEL)
• Create and monitor behavior intervention plans
• Participate in and facilitate the PPT process
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with administrators, teachers, parents, and students
• Other duties assigned at the director's discretion.
