What Youll Do:- Conduct psychological assessments, screenings, and evaluations based on inmate records and interviews
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmate mental health needs
- Perform regular rounds in various housing units to monitor inmate adjustment and mental health status
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and confrontation avoidance techniques
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, medical staff, social workers, and security personnel
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and follow-up on inmate mental health care
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies and licensing requirements
What You Need:- Active or eligible license to practice psychology in Mississippi
- At least 1 year of related mental health experience, preferably in correctional settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological counseling techniques and assessments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
