What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on available records and clinical interviews
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates
• Perform routine rounds in confinement areas to evaluate mental health status and adjust care as needed
• Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention
• Collaborate with psychiatric, medical, nursing, and security teams to coordinate inmate care
• Offer consultation and support to the mental health team to ensure effective treatment delivery

What You Need

• Licensed Psychologist or eligible for licensure verification
• Proven experience with mental health assessment and counseling techniques
• Strong knowledge of psychological counseling theory and practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a correctional health setting
• Required documentation: license verification, BLS certification, and evidence of eligibility
