Short Description:

Psychology Interns will have completed their educational work in an APA accredited Doctoral Psychology Program. They will be focused on clinical work in the area of Health Psychology across various rotations including CL, EIP, UHI, Pediatrics and Bariatrics as well as Assessment.
 
Responsibilities:
•    Foundational Responsibility: Demonstrates Cooper Core Values and Service Standards, and Leadership Must Haves.          Utilizes AIDET at all times. 
•    Psychotherapy – individual and group
•    Assessment – cognitive, neuropsychological and personality
•    Consultation- Liaison services interdisciplinary
•    Bariatric evaluations
•    Serious Mental Illness supports on IP Psych – individual and group.
•    Teaching residents and medical students on rotation with Behavioral Medicine Team

 

Experience Required:

3+ years of clinical training prior to internship


Communication – Ability to communicate with patients, visitors, and coworkers.


Psychotherapy Experience


Assessment experience preferred.

Education Requirements:

Master’s Degree Clinical Psychology Graduate School Completion


Prefer APA or CPA accredited program.

Salary Min ($): USD $16.50 Salary Max ($): USD $25.00
